Bill Massiongale Killed in Pocahontas, AR, 18-wheeler Accident

Pocahontas, AR -- April 28, 2017, Bill Massiongale was killed as the result of an accident where his vehicle and an 18-wheeler crashed head-on.

The Arkansas State Police released preliminary information regarding the fatal accident. They say that it occurred in the afternoon hours along Highway 67 bridge over Black River.

Police officials stated that 59-year-old Massiongale was driving an SUV along the highway at the time while an 18-wheeler was heading in the opposite direction. The two vehicles somehow crossed paths with one another, resulting in a head-on collision.

Police say that the collision resulted in the death of Massiongale, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver's condition was not given.

The exact factors leading to the crash were not made clear. No further details are available.
