Man Injured in Austin, TX, House Fire Accident on Colony Creek

Austin, TX -- May 16, 2017, a man sustained injuries resulting from an accident in which his home on Colony Creek Drive somehow caught fire.

Emergency response personnel from the Austin Fire Department were called out to the accident scene at approximately 6:08 p.m. The home is located somewhere along the neighborhood street of Colony Creek Drive.

At this point in the investigations, authorities still have yet to determine what the cause of the accident may have been. They say that one person, said to be a main in his 30s, was transported to University Medical Center-Brackenridge for treatment of burn-related injuries. He was said to be in stable condition. It appears no one else was harmed.

Fire officials say that the cause of the accident remains under investigations at this time.
