One Killed in Accident on U.S. Highway 395 in Gardnerville, NV

Gardnerville, NV -- A passenger vehicle vs. semi-truck crash in the area of Gardnerville, NV claimed the life of an unidentified motorist Monday, May 15, 2017.

Police officials say the semi and the car collided on U.S. Highway 395 around 9:30 a.m. south of Gardnerville. One person was killed in the incident. It is believed the deceased victim was an occupant in the sedan. It's unclear if the unnamed victim was the sole occupant of the vehicle or was traveling with others.

The exact cause of the incident remains unknown.
