Woman Killed in Accident on Interstate 635 in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- An unidentified woman was killed in a collision between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

The incident happened on Interstate 635 near Royal Lane in Dallas, TX Tuesday, May 16, 2017. According to early media reports, the woman was attempting to cross the interstate in the vicinity of 10100 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway. For reasons unclear, she was struck by a 2008 Hyundai headed north in the HOV lane.

The woman, who remains unidentified, was thrown into the southbound lanes, and was killed at the scene of the incident.

Authorities are currently examining the details of the incident in an effort to determine the exact cause.
