One Hurt in Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident near 8500 Blanco Road in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- A collision between a passenger car and a pedestrian left one person with injuries Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in San Antonio, TX.

The incident happened near 8500 Blanco Road around 9 a.m.

Based upon the report, it appears the unidentified pedestrian was walking on Blanco when he was struck by an SUV. Responders were able to transport the victim to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. According to the report, the man was sitting at a bus stop, and realized he was at the wrong step. He then got up and attempted to cross the street when he was struck.

The man's identity remains unclear. He was last listed in critical condition.
