Savannah Knight Killed, Christopher Kennamer Injured in Lonoke County, AR, Accident

Lonoke County, AR -- May 15, 2017, Savannah Knight was killed and Christopher Kennamer was injured due to an accident where their vehicle crashed.

The Arkansas State Police reported that the fatal accident happened at around 10:21 a.m. along Highway 319.

According to investigators, 33-year-old Kennamer was driving a Dodge Ram pickup along northbound Highway 319 with 30-year-old Knight riding as a passenger. For reasons which have not yet been determined, the vehicle lost control and ran off the roadway. This caused the vehicle to overturn, ejecting both occupants from the vehicle.

Knight sustained fatal injuries in the accident. It's unclear if she died at the scene or later on. Kennamer was taken to UAMS for treatment.

Police say that weather conditions were favorable at the time of the accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time.
