Motorcyclist Killed in Fort Worth, TX, Accident on Pitchfork Ranch

Fort Worth, TX -- May 12, 2017, a person was killed as the result of an accident where a motorcycle and multiple vehicles crashed on Pitchfork Ranch Road.

Officials from the Fort Worth Police Department responded to the accident scene at around 5:20 a.m. near the intersection of Pitchfork Ranch Road and Joyner Ranch Road.

According to their investigations, a person riding a motorcycle was traveling along Pitchfork Ranch behind another vehicle. Somehow, the motorcycle collided into the back of a pickup, ejecting the rider onto the roadway. That person was then hit by a third vehicle, inflicting critical injuries.

The unidentified motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.

The exact factors surrounding the accident are currently unclear. Investigations are ongoing.
