Angela Addington Killed in Fort Worth, TX, Train Accident

Fort Worth, TX -- May 13, 2017, Angela Addington was killed as the result of an accident where she was somehow struck by a train.

Fort Worth Police Department officials reported that the accident happened at around 1:00 a.m. just off the intersection of East Berry Street and I-35W.

According to preliminary details released by investigators, 41-year-old Addington was walking along the tracks at the time. As she did so, she somehow did not avoid an oncoming train which could not stop in time. The train struck Addington, inflicting fatal injuries.

Emergency medical crews were called to the accident scene, but Addington died at the scene. No one else appears to have been involved.

Police officials say that the factors surrounding the accident are still under investigation.
