Larry Taylor Injured in Alford, IN, FedEx Truck Accident

Alford, IN -- May 9, 2017, Larry Taylor sustained injuries due to an accident in which his FedEx truck overturned off the roadway.

Authorities from the Pike County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident scene at around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 356 and County Road 375E.

Preliminary details released by investigators indicate that 22-year-old Taylor was driving a FedEx box truck along the highway. Reports say he tried to change lanes to pass another vehicle. Noticing a near collision with another vehicle in that lane, he swerved the truck away from the car. This caused the truck to lose control and swerve over the median.

When the truck ran off the roadway, it overturned onto its side and ejected Taylor onto the ground. EMS transported Taylor to a hospital with serious but non-critical injuries.

No further information has been released at this time.
