Woman Killed in Train Accident at First Street in Lake Odessa, MI

Lake Odessa, MI -- A train vs. pedestrian incident in the area of Lake Odessa, MI claimed the life of an unidentified 18-year-old girl Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

The incident reportedly took place at First Street.

It appears the woman was near the tracks when she was struck by the train. Emergency responders attempted CPR, but were unable to save the woman. She was said to have suffered serious injuries in the incident.

Further information, including the victim's name and cause of the incident, may be revealed as the investigation concludes.
