Albert Creel Killed in Flint, MI, Car Accident

Flint, MI -- May 7, 2017, Albert Creel III suffered fatal injuries due to an accident in which his vehicle and another vehicle collided at an intersection.

According to investigators from the Flint Police Department, the fatal accident took place at around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Clio Road and West Pasadena Avenue.

Police reported that a Chevy Cavalier was traveling northbound along Clio Road when it attempted to make a left turn onto Pasadena. This put the vehicle into the path of an oncoming PT Cruiser, in which 87-year-old Creel was a passenger. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Creel was rushed over to Hurley Medical Center for treatment, but he later died there. It's unclear if the others involved in the crash were injured.

Police did not say what exactly caused the accident or if anyone was cited. No further information is currently available.
