Sarah Echols Killed, Two Hurt in Accident in Loxley, AL

Loxley, AL -- A two-vehicle crash in the area of Loxley, AL led to the death of 49-year-old Sarah Echols and left two with injuries Monday, May 8, 2017.

According to police, Ms. Echols's vehicle was traveling north on 59 when for reasons unclear it was struck by an oncoming Jeep Grand Cherokee. The incident took place at the intersection of Municipal Park Drive around 7:30 a.m.

Ms. Echols was killed upon impact. The driver and passenger in the Jeep were airlifted to USA Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

The investigation into the incident that claimed the life of Sarah Echols is currently underway.
