Kirk Foreman Killed in Ore City, TX, Hit-and-run Accident

Ore City, TX -- May 9, 2017, Kirk Foreman was killed as the result of an accident in which he was struck by a vehicle along the highway.

Authorities from the Texas Department of Puyblic Safety were called out to the accident scene along State Highway 155 near Lake O' the Pines.

Preliminary police reports indicate that 62-year-old Foreman was walking along the side of the highway at the time. He crossed in front of a private driveway when a pickup suddenly lost control and went off the highway. It struck Foreman on the shoulder of the roadway, then it left him on the ground and fled the scene.

By the time emergency services arrived, Foreman had succumbed to his injuries.

Police believe the pickup was a dark colored Chevrolet. They have yet to identify a suspect. No further information has been reported.
