Cheyanne Nicole Hass Killed, Mason Andrew Lanier & James Randall Thomas Hurt in Accident in Holly Springs, NC

Holly Springs, NC -- 22-year-old Cheyanne Nicole Hass lost her life, and Mason Andrew Lanier and James Randall Thomas were hurt in a single-vehicle collision in the area Holly Springs, NC Sunday, May 7, 2017.

The incident took place on Penny Road near Hunters Bluff Drive around 3:52 a.m.

According to the police report, Ms. Hass was killed when her vehicle collided with a Toyota Scion driven by 21-year-old James Randall Thomas. It appears the vehicle occupied by the victims was traveling on Penny Road when for unclear reasons it veered off the road, crashed into a tree, and overturned.

Ms. Hass was thrown from the vehicle.

Mr. Lanier and Mr. Thomas were hospitalized and were last listed in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
