Los Angeles, CA: 10-Year-Old Boy Killed in Accident on 405 Freeway

Los Angeles, CA -- A two-vehicle crash in the area of Los Angeles, CA led to the death of an unnamed 10-year-old boy Saturday, May 6, 2017.

The incident happened on the 405 Freeway around 10:50 p.m.

It appears a Nissan Altima was traveling along 405 when it pulled onto the right shoulder. A vehicle driven by Daniel Tapia headed in the same direction allegedly made an "unsafe turning movement," leading to the two vehicles colliding.

It's unclear in which vehicle the deceased victim was an occupant.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
