Alec Saunders Killed in Accident in Burnsville, MN

Burnsville, MN -- A work related incident in the area of Burnsville, MN left 27-year-old Alec Saunders dead Friday, May 5, 2017.

The incident took place at a Menard's home improvement store. According to the reports, Mr. Saunders was operating a forklift when for reasons unclear, the machinery rolled over. Mr. Saunders was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died as a result of blunt-force chest injuries.

Local officials are currently working with representatives with OSHA to investigate the cause of the incident.

The report provided no further information regarding the incident that led to Mr. Saunders's death.
