Two Killed, One Hurt in Accidental Campground Fire in Myrtle Beach, SC

Myrtle Beach, SC -- A fire at a campground in Myrtle Beach, SC led to the death of two people and injured one Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

According to the early media reports, the three victims were hurt when a fire broke out at the Apache Family Campground just after midnight. Two people, a 37-year-old man, and a 62-year-old woman, were found dead in one of the trailers. A third person, an unnamed man, was taken by air to a local hospital.

The exact cause of the deadly fire remains under investigation.
