Charleston, WV -- May 5, 2017, two people were fatally injured after an accident where their cargo plane crashed off the runway.

Officials from the Yeager Airport released preliminary details surrounding the accident, which they say occurred just before 7:00 a.m.

Reports say that two pilots were flying an Air Cargo Carriers plane for contracting work through UPS. They departed from Louisville, KY, about an hour before the crash. Upon arrival at Yeager Airport, the plane somehow lost control and went down into a wooded area before reaching the runway.
