James Spielmaker Killed in The Colony, TX, Motorcycle Accident

The Colony, TX -- May 8, 2017, James Spielmaker was killed due to an accident in which his motorcycle and a school bus collided.

According to preliminary details released by police, the incident took place at around 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of Paige Road and Gibson Drive.

Police investigators stated that 53-year-old Spielmaker was riding a motorcycle along the neighborhood road. As he did so, a school bus was making a left turn onto Paige Road, entering the path of Spielmaker's motorcycle. This led to a rear-end collision, ejecting Spielmaker onto the roadway.

Emergency services were called out to the accident scene, and they transported Spielmaker to a nearby hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. No one on the bus was injured.

Police did not release any additional information at this time.
