Motorcyclist Injured in Longview, TX, Accident on Marshall

Longview, TX -- May 5, 2017, a driver was injured as the result of an accident where a motorcycle and a van crashed on Marshall.

Authorities from the Longview Police Department reported that the incident took place in the afternoon hours of Friday at the intersection of Marshall Avenue and Enterprise Street.

Initial investigations have indicated that a motorcycle was traveling along eastbound Marshall Avenue at the time. As it crossed Enterprise, a van went across Marshall into the path of the motorcycle. This resulted in a collision that ejected the motorcyclist onto the roadway.

Authorities say the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The van driver was not injured.

Police didn't say if any citations or charges resulted from the accident. No further information is available.
