Robert Dale Fox Killed in Bullhead City, AZ, Bicycle Accident

Bullhead City, AZ -- May 5, 2017, Robert Dale Fox II was killed due to an accident where he was hit by an allegedly intoxicated driver.

Bullhead City Police Department officials released information surrounding the crash, which they say happened at around 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 95 and Airport Center Drive.

According to investigators, 34-year-old Fox was riding a bicycle along the side of southbound AZ-95. As he did so, 42-year-old Melanie Jones allegedly failed to avoid him and struck him with her vehicle.

Fox sustained critical injuries in the collision, and he eventually died at the scene. Jones was placed under arrest and faces charges of second-degree murder and driving under the influence. Police did not specify if the substance was alcohol or drugs.

Investigations are still ongoing at this time. No further details have been released.
