One Killed in Train vs. Pedestrian Accident in Pompano Beach, FL

Pompano Beach, FL -- An incident involving a train and a pedestrian claimed the life of an unidentified 30-year-old man Friday, April 28, 2017 in Pompano Beach, FL.

The incident took place on 3491 NW 8th Avenue.

According to representatives with Broward Sheriff's Office say the man was attempting to get on the train and in doing so was killed. The exact cause of the incident had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

The incident shut down a portion of the train routes for an indeterminate length of time.

The report provided no further information regarding the incident.
