Quinn Houlahan Killed in Solon, IA, Motorcycle Accident

Solon, IA -- May 2, 2017, Quinn Houlahan suffered fatal injuries as the result of an accident where his motorcycle and a pickup crashed.

Investigators from the Iowa State Police Department were called out to the scene of the accident at around 6:20 p.m. along Sutliff Road.

According to their preliminary police reports, 22-year-old Houlahan was driving a motorcycle along Sutliff at the time. Ahead of him, a pickup driven by 54-year-old Glen Ereberger was driving in the opposite direction. The pickup reportedly attempted a left turn, entering Houlahan's path and causing a collision.

Houlahan was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered critical injuries. He died at the scene before EMS could render aid. No other injuries occurred.

Police did not say if any charges were being considered. No further information is currently available.
