Quentin Bailey Injured in Morgan County, AL, 18-wheeler Accident

Morgan County, AL -- May 4, 2017, Quentin Bailey sustained injuries following an accident in which his vehicle and an 18-wheeler collided.

Preliminary accident reports were released by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department, saying the incident occurred along Highway 157.

Their reports indicate that Quentin Bailey was driving a car along the highway at the time when he came across a fallen tree across his traffic lane. He reportedly swerved to avoid it, and the vehicle lost control. It careened across the grassy median into oncoming traffic where it crossed paths with an 18-wheeler. This caused a head-on collision.

At this time, it's unclear if any additional factors contributed to the accident. Police say the accident is still under investigation.
