Tommy Green Killed in Ashdown, AR, Tree Trimming Accident

Ashdown, AR -- May 2, 2017, Tommy Green was killed due to an accident in which he somehow fell out of a bucket while trimming a tree.

According to reports released by the Ashdown Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. outside a residence along Pecan Street.

Police reports have indicated that 68-year-old Green was in a bucket truck with a chainsaw trimming the to of a tree. For reasons which have yet to be determined, the bucket lift somehow became unstable and fell against the tree. This caused green to fall from the bucket roughly 50 feet to the ground.

Green suffered fatal injuries in the accident, and EMS officials pronounced him dead at the scene. At this time, the factors leading to the accident are unclear.

Police continue their investigations.
