One Killed, One Hurt in Springfield, MO DUI Accident on the Clay Henshaw Memorial Access

Springfield, MO -- A suspected alcohol-relate crash in Springfield, MO claimed the life of an unidentified person and left one injured Friday, April 28, 2017.

The incident took place along Clay Henshaw Memorial Access.

According to authorities, a pickup truck was traveling along the roadway when it veered across the center line. The vehicle then struck an oncoming passenger car. The driver of the pickup was killed at the scene of the incident. The driver of the passenger car was left with minor injuries.

The cause of the head-on crash remains under investigation, however, police say they believe alcohol was a factor.
