Layton Rogers Killed in Train Accident in Hardin County, OH

Hardin County, OH -- A collision between a passenger car and a train in Hardin County, Ohio claimed the life of 16-year-old Layton Rogers Monday, May 1, 2017.

The incident took place near the 12000 block of County Road 60 around 3:50 p.m.

Police officials claim the victim was headed west on 60 when for unknown reasons his vehicle crashed with a CSX train. The collision killed Mr. Rogers at the scene of the incident.

At the time of the report, local authorities had yet to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The investigation into the incident that claimed Layton Rogers's life is currently underway.
