One Killed in Conroe, TX, Rollover Accident on FM 3083

Conroe, TX -- May 3, 2017, one person suffered fatal injuries due to an accident in which their vehicle overturned off of FM 3083.

Authorities from the Conroe Police Department responded to the accident scene around 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of FM 3083 and Old Texaco Road.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a man was driving a Chevy Tahoe southbound along FM 3083 when the accident happened. Officials say the vehicle somehow lost control on a curve in the road and ran off the side of the road. This caused the vehicle to overturn, ejecting the driver.

EMS rushed to the scene and transported to victim to Conroe Regional Hospital for treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries.

Police say roadways were wet at the time, though it's unclear if any other factors may have caused the fatal crash. Investigations are ongoing.
