Boy Killed, Girl Hurt in ATV Accident on Alabama 227 in Crossville, AL

Crossville, AL -- An incident in Crossville, AL involving an ATV claimed the life of an unidentified 13-year-old boy and left a girl with injuries Friday, April 28, 2017.

The incident took place on Alabama 227.

It looks like the boy was riding an ATV at his grandmother's house when for reasons unclear it flipped over. The boy, who was operating the ATV, was killed at the scene of the incident. The current condition of the female passenger is unclear.

Further information, including the victim's identities, may become known as the investigation concludes.
