One Injured in Dayton, OH, RTA Bus Accident on Main Street

Dayton, OH -- May 2, 2017, one person was injured as the result of an accident where an RTA bus crashed with a car on Main Street.

Dayton Police investigators released preliminary details regarding the accident. They say that it happened around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and East Hudson Avenue.

Initial details released indicate that am RTA bus was traveling northbound along Main Street carrying several passengers. For reasons which are not entirely clear, the bus and an oncoming white car crossed paths, crashing nearly head-on.

As a result of the collision, one of the passengers on the bus required transport to Good Samaritan Hospital. Their injuries were not specified. No other injuries were reported.

It's unclear if any charges or citations resulted from the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
