One Killed, Three Hurt in Accident at Mountain View Road and Hartgrove Road in Stokes County, NC

Stokes County, NC -- A crash in the area of Stokes County, NC led to the death of an unidentified person and left three hurt Tuesday, May 2, 2017.

The incident took place on at Mountain View and Hargrove Road around 3:45 p.m.

According to the report, the vehicle occupied by the deceased victim was traveling towards the intersection when for reasons unclear it hit a second vehicle.The first car then flipped into oncoming traffic, and was then struck by a third vehicle.

A person in the first vehicle was killed, while three people were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There was no official word on what caused the incident.

No identities have been released regarding the crash.
