Kim Renee Cooper Killed in Texarkana, AR, Truck Accident

Texarkana, AR -- April 21, 2017, Kim Renee Cooper was killed due to an accident in which her vehicle and a commercial truck collided.

According to reports released by the Arkansas State Police, the fatal crash happened at around 9:15 a.m. in the northeast area of town.

Preliminary accident reports indicate that 56-year-old Cooper was driving a 1994 Pontiac eastbound along I-30. As she did so, for reasons not yet known, the vehicle somehow crossed paths with an oncoming 18-wheeler. This resulted in a head-on collision.

Cooper suffered critical injuries and was transported to Baptist Health Medical Center for treatment. She later died there. No additional injuries were reported.

The factors surrounding the accident are not currently clear. Police continue to investigate the accident.
