Woman Injured in Las Vegas, NV, UPS Truck Rollover Accident

Las Vegas, NV -- April 26, 2017, a woman was injured due to an accident in which her UPS delivery truck rolled over off of I-15.

According to reports released by Nevada State Troopers, the incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. along the northbound lanes of I-15, near the intersection of US Highway 93.

Preliminary police reports have indicates that a woman, whose identity was not reported, was driving a UPS box truck along northbound I-15. For reasons which aren't yet clear, the vehicle lost control and swerved across traffic lanes. This caused the 18-wheeler to tip over and flip.

The woman was trapped inside the vehicle as a result of the accident. Emergency rescue crews arrived and were able to extract her from the vehicle. She was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police have not released any additional details at this time.
