Timoteo Apazaari Killed in Bohemia, NY, Truck Accident

Bohemia, NY -- April 29, 2017, Timoteo Apazaari suffered fatal injuries due to an accident in which a box truck rolled over him in a parking lot.

Bohemia Police Department officials reported that the incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Baker's Antique's and Collectibles, just off the intersection of Mantauk Highway and West Shore Road.

According to preliminary accident reports, 51-year-old Apazaari was conducting repairs underneath the box truck in the store parking lot. As he did so, the truck somehow began to roll, and it ran over Apazaari while he was working.

As a result of the incident, Apazaari sustained fatal injuries. EMS officials say he died at the scene before he could be transported to a hospital.

Police did not report if Apazaari was by himself at the time of the accident. The exact cause is still under investigation at this time.
