Two Hurt in Accident on FM 1960 in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a Motor Assistance Unit vehicle left two people with injuries in Harris County, TX Monday, April 1, 2017.

Police officials say the two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the North Freeway around 4 p.m.

An unidentified woman, the occupant of an SUV, collided with an HCSO vehicle at the side of the road as it assisted a stranded motorist. The collision left the woman trapped within the SUV for a period of time. The deputy assisting the stranded motorist was left with a small cut on his head.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing.
