14-Year-Old Girl Hurt in Accident with Semi-Truck at West Main and Main Street in Cheshire, CT

Cheshire, CT -- A truck vs. pedestrian crash in the area of Cheshire, CT left an unidentified 14-year-old girl with injuries Friday, April 28, 2017.

The incident took place at West Main and Main Street around 3 p.m.

According to the police reports, the girl was attempting to cross the street when for unclear reason she was struck by a semi-truck. The unidentified teen victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At the time of the report, it was unclear what caused the incident.

Local officials are examining the details of the incident in an effort to determine the exact cause.
