San Antonio, TX -- May 1, 2017, Marissa Vargas was killed as the result of an accident where her vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler along I-35.

Authorities from the San Antonio Police Department indicate that the incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of the I-35 service Road and Rittiman Road.

According to preliminary details released by investigators, an 18-wheeler was traveling along the service road and had to slow down due to traffic.
