James Loran Killed in New Castle, TX, Tractor Accident

New Castle, TX -- December 20, 2016, James Loran was killed as the result of an accident in which he was somehow run over while working on a tractor.

Officials reported that the incident happened on Tuesday morning at a farm area southwest of New Castle. 62-year-old Loran was reportedly working for Qaulity Implement John Deere as a veteran tractor serviceman.

For reasons which have not yet been determined, Loran was somehow run over by a tractor while he was performing maintenance work on it. The incident inflicted critical injuries to Loran, and he was rushed over to Graham Hospital for treatment. He later died there.

Authorities have not yet indicated what factors may have caused the accident. No additional information has been released.
