Marty McNett Injured in Midland, TX, Motorcycle Accident

Midland, TX -- March 21, 2017, Marty McNett was injured as the result of an accident in which his motorcycle collided with a car on Industrial Avenue.

Police investigators released details surrounding the accident, saying it happened at around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Industrial Avenue and South Midkiff Road.

Early reports state that Marty "Coach" McNett was riding a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Industrial. Ahead of him, a car attempted to turn off of Midkiff, entering the path of the motorcycle in the process. As a result, McNett could not stop in time, crashed into the car, and was ejected onto the roadway.

EMS transported him to Midland Memorial with a severe leg injury. The driver of the car was not injured.

Police say they issued a citation to the car driver in connection with the accident. They did not release any additional information.
