Kynna Peers Killed, Hannah Shepard, Heather Bell Injured in Mobeetie, TX, Accident

Mobeetie, TX -- March 19, 2017, Kynna Peers was killed, Hannah Shepard and Heather Bell were injured, in an accident where their car crashed off-road.

Authorities from the Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the crash happened near the intersection of County Roads 1046 and 48.

According to their preliminary reports, 15-year-old Peers was driving a vehicle with 16-year-old Shepard and 18-year-old Bell as passengers. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the vehicle lost control and traveled off-road. This caused the car to overturn repeatedly before coming to a stop.

Due to the crash, Peers suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Shepard and Bell were transported via helicopter to a local hospital. Their injuries were said to be serious.

Police still have not determined what caused the accident. Their investigations are still underway.
