Richard Suggs Killed, Two Hurt in Accident near Mathis, TX

Mathis, TX -- 61-year-old Richard Suggs was killed and two others were hurt in two-vehicle collision near Mathis, TX Friday, March 17, 2017.

The crash happened on Interstate 37.

According to the report, the victim was in a vehicle that collided with a second vehicle traveling ahead of him. The report claims the vehicle struck by the victim was going slower than the 75 mph speed limit as both vehicles were exiting the highway.

Mr. Suggs was killed at the scene of the incident.

Two people in the second vehicle were taken to a local hospital, but their current condition is unclear.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing.
