One Killed, One Hurt in Truck Accident on Interstate 15-90 near Butte, MT

Butte, MT -- A crash between an 18-wheeler and a pedestrian in the area of Rocker, ID claimed the life of an unidentified driver Saturday, March 18, 2017.

The incident happened on Interstate 15-90.

Police officials say the man and a female passenger were pushing a disabled vehicle on the right side of the highway around 1 a.m. when they were struck by the big rig.

The male driver of the passenger vehicle was killed in the incident.

The female passenger was left with minor injuries after being forced into a ditch.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
