One Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Calera, OK

Calera, OK -- A single-vehicle motorcycle crash claimed the life of an unidentified man on Cordell Road near Highway 69/75 around 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017.

According to the reports, the man was traveling along 69/75 when his bike crashed into a guard rail. The unidentified victim was transported by air to a nearby hospital with multiple injuries, with one injury described as a "head injury."

According to the report, the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Local police officials are examining the details of the incident at this time.

The preliminary press release provided no further information regarding the crash.
