One Killed in Massive Pileup on Interstate 15 in Provo, UT

Provo, UT -- A multi-vehicle crash in the area of Provo, UT claimed the life of an unidentified woman around 9:40 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017.

According to the report, the victim was traveling in a Nissan Sentra on Interstate 15 when it collided with a box truck in the center lane. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to a nearby hospital. She later succumbed to her injuries.

At the time of the report, officials had yet to determine the cause of the incident.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the crash.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
