Two Killed in Truck Accident on Highway 97 in Okanogan, WA

Okanogan, WA -- Following a crash between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler, two unidentified people were left dead in the area of Okanogan, WA Thursday, March 16, 2017.

The incident happened on Highway 97 around 2 p.m.

At the time of the report, it appeared the driver and the passenger were killed in the incident. The cause of the crash at 97 and Cameron Lake Road has yet to be determined.

Officials are poring over the details of the incident with the hopes of determining the cause.

There was no further information made available at the time of the report.
