1 Killed, 3 Injured in Houston, TX, 18-wheeler Accident on Little York

Houston, TX -- March 15, 2017, a person was killed and three others were injured following an accident where multiple vehicles crashed on Little York Road.

Harris County emergency response teams were called out to the intersection of Little York Road and Fairbanks North Houston Road at around 2:00 p.m.

According to preliminary investigations, multiple vehicles traveling along Little York somehow were involved in a pile-up. One of these vehicles was an 18-wheeler, and a car that was involved sustained severe damage. That car ended up off-road.

Emergency services say that one of the people involved in the accident died at the scene. Three other people sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Identifying information was unavailable.

Police did not say what caused the crash to occur. At this time, investigations are still ongoing.
