Two Injured in Hialeah Gardens, FL, Truck Accident on Okeechobee

Hialeah Gardens, FL -- February 24, 2017, two people were injured following an accident where two trucks crashed on Okeechobee Road.

The Florida State Highway Patrol was called to investigate the two-vehicle accident at around 8:15 p.m. The collision occurred near the intersection of Okeechobee Road and NW 10th Avenue.

Police from the scene reported that two commercial trucks were traveling on Okeechobee when they somehow crossed paths with each other, causing a collision. This collision caused one of the trucks to flip over onto its side.

Emergency services came to the scene, and both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Injuries sustained were not specified.

It's not currently clear what factors led to the crash or who was at fault for the crash. No further details have been reported.
