One Hurt in Pedicab Accident on South Congress Avenue in Austin, TX

Austin, TX -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a pedicab left one person with undisclosed injuries Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

According to police, the pedicab was traveling along South Congress Avenue close to Barton Springs Road when it was struck by the vehicle around 10 p.m. The operator of the pedicab was injured, but the nature of their injuries was not determined. According to the CEO of Easy Ride Pedicab, the injured victim refused medical treatment.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly left the scene of the incident.

The exact cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
