Antonio Mahaffey, Thomas Larkin, Michelle Murryn Injured in Defuniak Springs, FL, Accident

Defuniak Springs, MI -- March 7, 2017, Antonio Mahaffey, Thomas Larkin, and Michelle Murryn were injured after an accident with a dump truck.

The Florida State Highway Patrol investigated the two-vehicle accident which occurred along US Highway 331 near the intersection of Coy Burgess Road.

At around 12:30 p.m., 25-year-old Mahaffey, 27-year-old Larkin, and 26-year-old Murryn were traveling northbound in an SUV along US 331. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the vehicle crossed paths with an oncoming dump truck also on US 331. The two vehicles crashed head-on into each other, forcing both of them off the roadway.

Due to the collision, Mahaffey sustained critical injuries. He was transported to Bay Medical Center for intensive care. Larkin and Murryn were also taken to Bay Medical with unspecified injuries. The dump truck driver was not injured.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations following the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
