Antoine Straughn Killed near Tappan Lake, OH, Truck Accident

Tappan Lake, OH -- March 11, 2017, Antoine Straughn was killed as the result of an accident where his car crashed with two 18-wheelers.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene at around 7:30 a.m. The crash happened along US Highway 250 just off the coast of Tappan Lake.

Preliminary police reports have stated that 43-year-old Straughn was traveling along the highway in a Nissan Altima. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the car was involved in a collision with a semi-trailer. This caused the car to lose control, and it was hit a second time, head-on by another 18-wheeler.

Due to the collision, Straughn suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Neither truck driver was hurt.

At this time, no additional details have been reported. Police continue their investigations.
